The future situation of the occupational group on the labour market

The employment prospects for this occupational group in the 2009-2013 period will be as follows:

Poor

Very good

The chances of finding employment for this occupational group in 2009-2013 are poor. As compared to the current situation the chances will remain about the same. The main factor influencing this prognosis is rapid increase in number of tertiary education graduates in the fields of economy, law and other social sciences. People with these qualifications currently account for nearly three fifths of employees in this occupational group. The surplus of graduates over the number of relevant vacancies is significant already today and it will continue to grow. Most new graduates may face a difficulty finding employment in their field, which may increase their interest in retraining. As it is necessary to reform public finances, a decrease in demand for employees to fill the posts of senior public administration officers is expected.
